Fisheye Fun!

So in this update I am showing some shots taken with the Samyang 8mm f2.8 fisheye lens for the fuji x mount which i purchased a couple of months back. The korean made lens is well built and only cost me a cool 250 SGD pre owned. The lens is sharp, solidly built and being this wide at 8mm, almost everything is focused without having to fiddle too much with manual focusing. One gripe i would have with this lens however, would be that it is especially prone to flare in bright sunlight. So for those of you thinking of pointing this at a subject directly under the sun on a sunny noon day, please think twice. The flare would hit your image like its raining fireballs.

Other than that, the lens is definitely the most bang for buck lens i have at the moment. Do check out the couple of images i took with this lens. Its great for those architecture, landscape and indoor shots. Definitely worth your hard earned cash! =)

(ps: just incase you guys are wondering how the lens looks like...check out the wallpaper of the blog =))
